Building Permit Fee Schedule
Fees are subject to change, check with City Hall for most current information

Residential Building Permit Fee:  
Building permit fee will be $500 plus 12 cents per square foot covered space.  This charge will include the electrical, plumbing and the HVAC permits.  A $50.00 occupancy permit fee will be charged for each unit.  A separate permit fee is required for each unit in a multi-unit building.

Commercial Building Permit Fee:
Building permit fee will be $500 plus 15 cents per square foot of covered space.  This fee includes the electrical, plumbing and HVAC permits.  A $50.00 occupancy permit fee will be charged for each unit.  A separate permit fee is required for each unit in a multi-unit building.

Alterations, additions and residential accessory building permit fee:  
$50 minimum or 12 cents per sq. ft. whichever is greater

Plumbing, Electrical and Mechanical permit fees, where applicable:
Plumbing Permit - $50.00 base fee plus $5.00 for each plumbing fixture, drain, or trap.

Electrical Permit - $50.00 base fee plus:

120 v. circuit------------------------------------ $2.00
220 v. circuit------------------------------------ $4.00
100 amps to 199 amps-------------------------- $8.00
200 amps to 299 amps------------------------- $16.00
300 amps & above----------------------------- $24.00
Temporary service----------------------------- $10.00

Heating and Air Permit (Mechanical) - $75.00 up to 10 tons, plus $10.00 per ton over 10 tons.

Mobile Home Permit Fee
$100 for each mobile home
Sign and Banner permit fees:
Sign permit fee - $50 per sign
Banner permit fee - $25
